How we handle your data.
Plot Eval is a decision-support platform for property research. We collect and store only what is needed to provide the service: account information, the datasets you create, the property data you upload, and the research you add (notes, checklist, status). We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising. Plot Eval assists analysis and organization; it does not provide investment, legal, financial, or tax advice.
Account data (email and authentication credentials, handled by our auth provider). Dataset and property data (names of datasets, county selection, and all property records you import and data we add via the service, e.g. GIS enrichment, grades). Research data (notes, checklist state, status, flags). Usage and logs (we may log requests and errors for operation and security; logs may include IP, timestamp, and request path, retained only as needed).
We use your data solely to provide and improve the Service: to authenticate you, store and display your datasets and properties, run geocoding and GIS enrichment, compute grades, and show maps. We do not use your property or research data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties. Signals and grades are analytical indicators only; users must independently verify data.
We use hosting and database providers (e.g. Supabase), authentication, geocoding and maps, and GIS data services. Data shared with them is limited to what is necessary. We do not sell or rent your data or share it for third-party marketing or advertising.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. We retain your data for as long as your account and datasets exist; deletion or anonymization follows our retention and backup procedures.
You can access, update, or delete your data through the Service. You can delete your account; we will remove or anonymize your account and associated data. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights (e.g. GDPR, CCPA); contact us to exercise them.
